Apple Unveils New MacBook Pro Models with M3 Chips, Retires Touch Bar

Apple introduced the latest 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pro laptops with M3 chips. The entry-level 14″ model has the standard M3 chip and no Touch Bar, replacing the 13″ M1 MacBook Pro.

The M3 Pro and M3 Max variants now come in a sleek Space Black color. The 16″ MacBook Pro with M3 Pro offers an impressive 22-hour battery life, while the 14″ models vary. The 14″ M3 MacBook Pro features a notch design and Liquid Retina XDR display.

Connectivity remains similar to the previous models, offering three Thunderbolt 14 ports, an HDMI port, an SD card reader, and a MagSafe connector. The screens reach 600 nits of brightness.

Pricing starts at $1,599 for the base 14″ M3 MacBook Pro. The 14″ M3 Pro begins at $1,999, with options up to $2,399. The top-tier M3 Max is $3,199. The 16″ MacBook Pro starts at $2,499 for the M3 Pro and goes up to $3,999 for the M3 Max.

Shipping for the M3 and M3 Pro options begins on November 7, with the M3 Max variants available at a later date. Pre-orders are open on Apple’s website.
